Cover Letter

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to introduce myself to you as a graduating student of Lasalle College Of The Arts Singapore.

With my willingness to learn and to put in my best efforts, I believe that you can help me achieve growth in career and character development and in return provide more value to the company.

I have a strong design background in Design Communication and participated in school internships and part-time jobs. I also have good technical knowledge on several useful applications as highlighted in my resume attached.

I am a fresh graduate of Lasalle College Of The Arts Singapore, majoring in Design
Communication, at the same time I also majored in Advertising Communication in my final semester. I am proficient in languages and know how to use various computer software for handling documents and design software for designing and layout purposes. Being attentive to details, I am able to work with people in any levels. And most importantly, I am willing to learn new things.

During my vacation last December, I joined an apprenticeship program under the National Arts Council. I was assigned to a mentor who gave me plenty of exposure to the design field. The apprenticeship gave me an insight on how it is like to collaborate with a fellow artist, and also interviewing artists of the I-light event held in Singapore last year.

At present, I am not working or studying, I have just completed my semester in school so I’m waiting for convocation in September 2011.
